i have wanted to join this site for a while because its so awsome but i didnt until now....
i have been making sigs for 1 month and I have been improving greatly, my sigs arent in any real order sort of newer to oldest but i'm sure you can figure out the newer ones




-can't find the better one, it had nicer effects on the far left pic
-three people is tough

-blur effect is a little much









-i no some of my olders ones arent that good and i lossed the ones with borders but i do make all my sigs with borders...i am improving alot and love this site hope you take me! *boxer*

aaahh none of the gfx team has seen my tryout yet, i'm so nervous :(

you have a lot of creativity going for you and your main focus is baseball so i give you credit for that, but text is your biggest downfall. i know i dont get a vote here, just a comment from one designer to another.

Not too sure bout you. you have some bad text and a bit of a cropping error, but i will let my other fellow gfx members take a look.

what cropping errors, if you mean the manny one i fixed that i just couldnt find the uploaded one.

you go crazy on those borders man..make the borders there but not as noticeable

Horrible text. Don't always use bevels. I used to be like you.

You pixel fonts are too big, and you overused the one horrible font over and over.

TOO MUCH STROKE. Tone it down. 2 px stroke max, one is optimal.

Also work on player effects. That Willis one is horrible. Never put a bevel (or whatever you did) on players.

Player positioning. The pitcher in the WS sig (Buehrle I think) it looks like he is sinking.

Don't put you name that noticeable on your sigs.


Other than that they are all right, but need a lot of work.

I'm with Element. Especially when it comes to tagging your sigs.

i didnt use bevel that much on my text, only like 3 and on the whitesox one is not buhrle but its very hard to make one with three people, their's almost no room.

could someone that said they didnt like my text tell me if its the font you dont like or the effects, thanks.

Yuck, too much stroke and player effects are way too overdone. Don't use Outer Glow with that default color, either. Use it with white to obtain something like this effect around this picture:
