I expected better from Baseball-Almanaz.... *idunno*

hankaaron44 - March 26, 2006 11:01 PM (GMT)
I'll do a football one. It's pretty easy to look up.

" We are the only two defensive tackle and defensive end to ever win the Super Bowl MVP. We share this award and won it with the Dallas Cowboys. Who are we ? "

Giant9herFan - March 28, 2006 04:16 AM (GMT)
I'll be honest, I dont really follow football that closely, and this probably isnt the smartest place to post a football trivia :P .

Anybody know the answer though?>

hankaaron44 - March 28, 2006 05:17 AM (GMT)
Yeah, when I see two more people post that they give up, I'll say the answer. It's not that hard to look up.

Untouchable - March 28, 2006 03:33 PM (GMT)
Baseball Trivia section this football dont belong here

Giant9herFan - March 28, 2006 03:45 PM (GMT)
Does anybody know the ansewer though? It's not that big of a deal...

Carlfan - March 28, 2006 08:57 PM (GMT)
I know it, just can't remember their names. lol

Iluvkm15 - March 29, 2006 12:15 AM (GMT)
I don't know if he played for the cowboys or what position he played, but is one of them Emmit(SP?) Smith?
His name just popped into my head when I read the question. I don't know why though.

hankaaron44 - March 29, 2006 12:18 AM (GMT)
No. I said defensive end and defensive tackle. Keep in mind I can delete your posts and this I do know a lot of Basebal Trivia. It's just for fun so don't bash it. Hankaaron44 is known for making admins/G-mods super flexable with rulings so I'm not going to be warned for this, Untouchable.

yeah I don't know a ton about football

hankaaron44 - March 29, 2006 03:13 AM (GMT)
Okay here's the answer. In Super Bowl XII, the Dallas Cowboys easily romped the Denver Broncos 27-10. Defensive tackles usually don't receive much glory but DT #54 Randy White and DE Harvey Martin forced a then Super Bowl record eight turnovers.

Giant9herFan - March 30, 2006 03:40 AM (GMT)
* I lead these stats in the playoffs alltime: BA, OBP, Slugging, OPS.
* I have 8 Gold Gloves
* I've had a 40/40 season before.

This is a mega easy one..ehh.

hankaaron44 - March 30, 2006 04:44 AM (GMT)
Babe Ruth ? Ty Cobb ?

If u don't mind, here's another football one in case I get it right. Giant9herFan, I think u would know this one :

I won the Super Bowl MVP in Super Bowl XXIII.

Giant9herFan - March 30, 2006 04:53 AM (GMT)

Giant9herFan - March 30, 2006 04:55 AM (GMT)

hankaaron44 - March 31, 2006 12:37 AM (GMT)
Okay, Walsh coached at two unniversities. Stanford was the obvious one, but the Cal that chipperedUp was talking about is UC Berkeley, ala mater of William Hung *mwaha*

Walsh also assistant coached two other teams ? Who are they ?

Oh and Mike Holmgren and Mike Shanahan have coached under Walsh.

Duck Fook - March 31, 2006 12:50 AM (GMT)
