ok, now I got in a huge fight in school with this kid about the Curse of the Bambino....and how it was just a saying to me...nothing more, though it was fun to joke about with Sox fans. And he said..what next, Curse of the Red Ruffing? And it hit me "YES!!!" heres why.
Red Ruffing was born May, 1904..100 years later, the Sox won the world Series, breaking the curse of the Bambino. What if it took 100 years, and the death of the Curse of the Bambino to be born, huh? And then think even more, what saved the Sox in 2004..Pitching...what killed them in '05..Pitching!! What position did Red RUffing suck at on the Sox but dominate on the Yanks? Pitching...hmmmm
