Last 2 starts in Triple-A:
14 IP, 2 hits, 0 ER, 3 BB, 11 K
The 2 hits and 0 ER are nice, but I'm more impressed with the 7 innings in each start. He's finally up to a max pitch count of 90, so hopefully with another offseason of work he can be up to around 100 by next spring and can be a mid season callup in 2009.
On his last start before this one he was sitting at 90-92(good movement), hitting as high as 94, and as low as 87(looked like a cutter?). His slider was great, as usual, and he threw more changeups than what he did when he was AA.
He has a little Halladay in him where gets the ball and just goes after hitters with the fastball with sink and whatnot.
And he's a fucking big guy gotta be more than 220 probably close to 6'4 235-240
I couldn't see today's game because I was out all day but kinda wish I had
