Just came back from a Dodgers/Giants game at AT&T Park, and saw the game where Giants ace Barry Zito dueled against Brad Penny. Zito did horrible, got the loss and is now 6-14 with an ERA above 5. It was pathetic, but I got to see Barry Bonds on saturday and booed him. Zito just sucks so much, some guy was happy when he got his autograph but I just laughed saying it wasn't valuable anymore.

What were your thoughts on the pre-game ceremonies with Bonds and the other Giant outfielders?
By the way, it's hard to think of Zito as an ace again, especially with Lincecum and Cain in the rotation.

Man, there were so many teams going after Barry Zito. So while the Giants look terribly retarded, it could've easily been several other teams.
I even remember when all the talk shows around here were calling for the Jays to get Barry Zito.
Still sucks for the Giants though, lol.

Cashman's best move was not to sign him. Even when Zito offered to take less money with us. This doesn't make us even for the pavano sht, but it helps.

I still remember the day that he signed with the Giants. I was so pissed.
He know exactly what he was doing. He knew he didn't have much left in the tank anymore, so he went against his word, took the money to go to a team close to home, and not even close to the fanbase of New York. Could you imagine if he was a Met? He would have been eaten alive.

actually I said that not because its not true that zitos autograph value has gone down, but thats a douchish thing to say to someone whos happy they just got a zito autograph, and probably doesnt even care about selling it anyways

The guy was a friend of the Giants president and also CEO. He was a millionaire, and he was bragging to everyone and showing them Zito's ball in their face. Hopefully after I left someone would punch him in the teeth for being annoying.
