Title: Papelbon

How do you think Papelbon handled himself over the ASG week? To me he seemed a bit uneducated both in general and the baseball world. I can't fathom them saying anything about being booed, Jeter gets booed in Pitsburg at the All Star Game and never says anything about it. The only guy I didn't boo was Francona, I knew he'd put Mo in the 9th and he has respect for the game.

Paps is one of my favorite players, but he was pretty clueless and said some stupid shit during All-Star week. Saying how he wanted to close over Mariano and everything. Didn't really show much respect.

He shouldn't have been vocal about it. He's still young. Tossing comments like that this early in his career isn't smart.

The better question is how do you believe NY fans handled themselves during the game.

The NYY fans pretty much booed every non-yankee on the teams and got kind gay by the time the actual game began after the pregame ceremony.

I was at the game and the only guys who got booed were Red Sox and mets fans booed Utley and Lidge. Winfield was cheered until he put on his Padres hat, then he got booed.

The title says it all. He pitched an inning and gave up a run. Rivera pitched 1 2/3 and was spotless.

Papelbon gave up 1 bloop hit and stcuk out 2. No need to ostracize him over that.
