The ICE...COLD...BEEEEEEER guy, Wayne McMahon, has been fired by Aramark. The popular beer seller at the 100 level of the Rogers Centre was fired for not carding somebody and selling them a beer. The man was later determined to be 22 but because he was under 30, and there is a policy to ID everyone who is under 30, Wayne was let go.
For those of you who have never been to a Blue Jays game or have no clue what the hell I'm talking about, Wayne McMahon is a living legend. You may have heard lots of computerized voices of someone in a gravel voice shouting "ICE COLD BEER" but this man actually started it. He is a staple of the Blue Jay games when you're sitting anywhere behind the foul lines. If the Blue Jays game was crap, at least there was Wayne. He's the equivalent of the Rally Monkey at Angel Stadium or the panhandler guy at Tiger Stadium. The atmosphere is not the same without them.
