Just taking a look at how JP drafted in 07 and this year, it kinda makes you wonder if he's thinking of completely overhauling the team in 1-2 years. We have Arenciba at C, Jackson at SS, Hill at 2B, Ahrens at 3B, and at 1B we have Cooper. Wells, Rios, and Chavez/Lind in the OF with Snider DH'ing and our rotation the same with Cecil instead of Burnett.
Of course, the complete overhaul shit would never happen since we'd lose all our bandwagon fans if we're not "competing".
With the way we've performed in the last few years, I'm all in favour.
Too many teams trying to Rebuild. Let us finish first before you guys start.

It's not going to happen either way, not unless J.P.'s fired. The truth is that none of those guys you mentioned, with the exception of Rios or Burnett, should be depended on to break into the majors until Sept. of 2010 the earliest. There will be a new wave of players coming in when Wells starts making $23 mil, but that's a long ways away.
