Love this move. He's still got a decent bat, and is a great clubhouse guy, which is what we're missing. And he'll play first.

The Mets are in a huge shitload of trouble, and they went out to trade for a guy who will make the clubhouse settle down.
He shouldn't do much with the bat (or glove for that matter) to help you guys out, but he's a great figure in that clubhouse.
