Title: How bout 3 Umpires instead of 2?

In the minor leagues they always use 2 umpires. Why not add 3rd umpire so they can see more fair or foul calls closely when ball hit in the outfield.

BEcause its the minor leauges and a 3rd umpire cost money

So why not create fees added to Players salaries? Minor league players dont have a union. So therefor they can't speakout like the major league players do.Minor leagers are low class like the Middle Class americans are.And we can't do anything about Sales taxes local politicans do. WE ALL HAVE TO PAY IT!!! So why not add Fees to players salaries to pay for umpires. Its like when the Airlines add Baggage fees AND WE can't DO NOTHING ABOUT IT!

That would cause ticket prices to rise... its hard enough for them to fill there stands.

They should put 3 Umpires in AA and A Ball and 2 Umpires in Rookie leagues.

I went to a Pawsox game a couple of years ago, and I could have sworn I saw 3 umps on the field that day. :unsure:
