Title: Jays Offence wakes up

nath87 - May 25, 2008 01:45 PM (GMT)
The Jays won the first game vs. KC 7-1 and the second game 6-0 and we are getting it from unlikely sources. Brad Wilkerson seems like a pretty good pick up now eh ? I hope the jays can continue with their offensiv surge, it will get the jays right back in the AL east Race.

Rios was starting to pick it up a bit the past few games....I hope he turns it on

As good as Greinke is, I'll need more than 2 games against KC pitching to believe they're back.

Well it's a good start

and Rios got another clutch hit today

Lyle Overbay sets a new franchise record by getting on base in 12 straight at-bats.

Let's hope they keep this up. I'm going to be going to the game tomorrow with 299 other people from my school for School Day at the Rogers Centre.

Rios looks like he's starting to get on a roll. The jays offence is waking up it's pretty nice to see. Marcum is pitching awesome again. The jays weren't able to do this last year. They weren't able to sweep teams that they should be able to beat easily. Well they are doing it now.

Good to see the Jays sweep the Royals outta town, a team they've had trouble with sometimes. They should've opened the roof for this game though. Over 20 schools were there and that made up most of the 23,157 (got that number stuck in my head) who showed up.

It was somewhat overcast with a spotlight of sun but no rain came down until 10 tonight.

Scutaro has been great since taking over at short. He should keep starting even when Eckstein comes back.

nath87 - May 29, 2008 10:46 PM (GMT)
lol Eckstein showed his offensive talent today. and so did most of the others, 12 runs today. This is awesome. The jays are doing great

12 runs, 17 hits.

Rios goes 0-for-6 from the 3-hole. Move him down plz.

We won't because we're winning.

Rockshu - May 29, 2008 11:58 PM (GMT)
But we're winning in spite of Rios, not thanks to him.

Oh, and by Pythagorean W/L, we're leading the AL East with the Red Sox having the same record and leading the Wild Card.
