Accardo is out too, forearm strain, but no one really cares about him.
The Wells injury pretty much ends the season. For starters, our offense is bad now, and it's only going to get worse. Second of all, it's a wrist injury which takes forever to fully come back from (see Derrek Lee 2007).
Countdown to Spring Training 2009: 10 months.

JP bought himself another year because he's gonna play the injuries card for this season. Same with Gibbons.

He went 1 for 19 so they sent him back down last week.

Drop him. He's not going to have any power when he comes back anyways. He's a 4th outfielder at best for fantasy purposes.
