Holy shit, Nnamdi Asomugha on one end and Hall on the other!! Now that is a pure shutdown secondary right there and let's not forget that they also have Michael Huff at SS. The Raiders' defence will be the strongest its been in years. Sure, they've locked up a lot of money in Hall, Asomugha, Huff and JaMarcus Russell, and they'll have to pay another $20 mil in guaranteed to whoever they pick 4th overall, but the AFC West is pretty weak except for San Diego. I think they're definetly a team to look out for.

Except their problem last year was run defense and they've done nothing to fix that. Look at Denver -- Bailey and Bly at the corners, so teams just ignore passing and rush for like 160 every game.

I'll give the benefit of the doubt to Hall on this one. He did manage to shut down Terrell Owens on MNF of all things a couple of seasons ago. Besides, I like watching a guy who wears their emotions on their sleeves. I'm tired of watching players who play more like robots and secret service officers.
