The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have declined to tender a contract to RHP JOSH TOWERS for the 2008 season. TOWERS, 30, appeared in 25 games for Toronto last season making 15 starts and posting a 5-10 record with a 5.38 ERA. In five seasons with the Blue Jays, 2003-2007, the 6-1, 160lb. native of Port Hueneme, California was 38-42 with one save in 113 games, 92 starts. His best season with Toronto came in 2005, posting a 13-12 record in 33 starts with a 3.71 ERA. |
I just thought we might take a second to think of all the great moments Towers gave us. Oh wait, I can't really think of any... all I can say is, I wish you the best wherever you go Towers. I'm just glad you won't be back with the jays next year.
