The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have declined to tender a contract to RHP JOSH TOWERS for the 2008 season.
TOWERS, 30, appeared in 25 games for Toronto last season making 15 starts and posting a 5-10 record with a 5.38 ERA. In five seasons with the Blue Jays, 2003-2007, the 6-1, 160lb. native of Port Hueneme, California was 38-42 with one save in 113 games, 92 starts. His best season with Toronto came in 2005, posting  a 13-12 record in 33 starts with a 3.71 ERA.

I just thought we might take a second to think of all the great moments Towers gave us. Oh wait, I can't really think of any... all I can say is, I wish you the best wherever you go Towers. I'm just glad you won't be back with the jays next year.

any predictions on where he might end up, if anywhere?

Meh, good riddance. If he doesn't go to the NL hes crazy.

JP should not have given him a two-year major league contract after his fluke career season in 2005.
