| NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- The Chicago Cubs freed up payroll on Tuesday when they reached an agreement to trade utility infielder Omar Infante and lefthander Will Ohman to the Atlanta Braves for righthander Jose Ascanio. The deal was expected to be announced later Tuesday and will save the Cubs about $3 million in salary. Ohman was 2-4 with a 4.95 ERA in 56 games for the Cubs last season. Infante hit .271 with two homers and 17 RBI in 66 games for the Detroit Tigers. He was acquired by Chicago last month in the Jacque Jones trade. Ascanio, 22, was 1-1 with a 5.06 ERA in 13 games with Atlanta last season. |

| I don't even remember him getting traded to the Cubs...unless he was involved in the deal with Monroe. |
