Title: Nats looking at Pelfrey and Slowey
TheHugeUnit - December 4, 2007 03:55 AM (GMT)
MLB.com reports that the Nationals are shopping Austin Kearns and Felipe Lopez for starting pitching.
Kearns is more expendable after Monday's trade for Elijah Dukes gave the Nationals four outfielders for three spots. Washington is said to be interested in Mike Pelfrey of the Mets and Kevin Slowey of the Twins.

Lopez for Slowey would make some sense for both teams. Maybe even do Pelrey and a prospect for Kearns next, kearns could play right for the Mets.
