If they trade for him they are basically just giving up Kendrcik for Cabrera, if the trade is correct.

Adenhart, Howie Kendrick, Reggie Willits and Jeff Mathis is their asking price. Adenhart is nothing more than a middle of the rotation starter. Willits is nice to have but nothing great and now with Hunter there expendable and Mathis which isn't a huge loss. They can sign a Fasano to back up Napoli or trade for a starter since they have a lot of pitching depth now.

I very much disagree with you on that one. Right now behind Ichiro, in my opinion Willits is the best leadoff hitter in the makings.

He hit .293 and 27 in his rookie year with 143 games, and his on base percentage is outrageous at .391. He gathered 69 walks and also 20 doubles.

The already have four outfielders, and Figgens to leadoff. They really just don't need him.
