Title: I just have one thing to say

GROW THE FUCK UP!!!!!

I don't know about anyone else on this board, but I am really getting sick and tired of the personal attacks towards other members (especially myself). I now know why Jayhawk Bill left, and I personally don't blame him one bit. If the attacks towards me continue the way they have, I might consider leaving as well.

Whos made fun of you?

Cubluva101 - November 11, 2007 03:04 AM (GMT)
why do you think I stopped posting here as well?

soxfan#1 - November 11, 2007 04:04 AM (GMT)
I blame the administration.

You think we need to grow up because you're like 50 years older than us and you live with your parents.

jaysdude09 - November 11, 2007 07:22 AM (GMT)
Who exactly has been giving you these personal attacks?

I'm not 50 years older than you, and I live with my parents, because I can't afford to live on my own right now.

Returning home after schooling for many months or few years is becoming an accepted part of life transitions both in the US and in other Western Democracies. It makes more sense than struggling to maintain a tiny independent domicile, and it's often better than having a succession of roommates.

Every one of my successful nephews and nieces had a significant period of time living at home after college. A few just moved out and never came back, but that was due to, IMHO, bad parenting and poor support, and they've struggled as a result.

I actually never went to college.

I have moderate language learning difficulties that make it difficult for me to live on my own.

Well that explains it perfectly. If she has a disability, that obviously is what prevents her from living on her own, and therefore shouldn't be made fun of for that reason.

BUT... are these personal attacks that bad?

Pardon if my post was perceived as insulting, then. You write with the maturity of one who had completed some post-high school education, and I inferred that you were older than the teenagers who post here, thus I compared you to college graduates.

Some of her topics. There's much more, but I had to stop because finding all her topics are wasting my time.

Oh will you 2 stop your damn bickering. It's like a married couple.

Tribe No 1 Fan does have a point though. "Retarded" may not be appropriate to sum up the threads Cathy has made, but many of them have been pointless and useless. I know she's been made aware of her making useless topics, and has apologized, but doesn't seem to stop. I do not know why this is, and whether it relates to her disability or something else.

The best I can do to sum it up: Don't be so cruel to Cathy on the board, but Cathy, you really must stop making so many nonsense threads/posts.

I am really sorry for making all of the uselss topics. It's just that I don't know who else to vent to.
