Title: Odd Man Out
Description: Who won't be a starter?

When the Braves make their 5 man rotation, who will be the odd man out? Some are a given, like Smoltz and Hudson. I'm also pretty sure that you can count Thomson and Ramirez in too. So really its between Sosa and Davies. But if it were up to you, which man would you leave out?

Davies probably.

As much as I'd love for Hoho to not start, we need at least one lefty.....

And you might remember two years ago ramirez led the NL in ERA for the first 2 months and then got injured, so he has shown signs of being good.... *idunno*

I say Smoltz.................

kidding...I think it'll be Kyle Davies

I guess we gotta keep Ramirez so as to keep one lefty, that is until Hampton can return (does anyone know when Hampton will be back?). Smoltz and Hudson are a given. Here's where my dilemma (sp?) would start. With Sosa, I guess I'd let him start out the year starting. He had never pitched anywhere near as good in his career as he did last year. Hopefully he was more than just lightening in a bottle for Atlanta in 05. I'm not a big fan of Thomson. He's never done anything to impress me. However, since he just extended his contract at the beginning of the offseason, I don't see them starting him out n the pen. I'd much rather see Davies start than Thompson. Am I the only one? Besides, Davies started out his MLB career as a starter, and when they moved him to the pen, he didn't adjust well. I don't know if anyone else here remembers the difference between Davies the Starter, and Davies the Reliever, but I do.
