Title: Who would you rather trade?

| Cafardo proposes the idea of the Cubs acquiring J.D. Drew as their OBP-minded right field acquisition. Drew has a limited no-trade clause allowing him to block two unknown teams. I imagine the Red Sox would have to eat some salary. |
Keep in mind this is coming from a boston based writer.
If you could move one or the other out of Boston, who would it be?
I think that Drew will have a better year next year and I am personally sick of the Coco experiment and I want Ellsbury to start.

Coco.
Drew is at least one of the most talented players in baseball when he feels like it. The CF job is Ellsbury's anyway.

Wouldnt mind having Drew, although him to the Cubs is unlikely, people are already saying that the Cubs will be starting Pie in CF (Experiment, long term=season) and moving Jones to RF, and after the season Jones had i dont see the need for Drew to be honest.

Obviously Crisp. J.D. Drew has five tool potential, and though he's "fragile," he'll have some good seasons in Boston. Crisp on the other hand, has shown he isn't going to hit here like he did in Cleveland, and we've seen what Ellsbury can do.

Coco needs to go. End of discussion

She's right, you can't even argue it.
What are you going to do? Trade Drew, keep Coco starting in center... and where does Ellsbury go? He's not going to play a corner and you can't keep him in the minors.
Actually, you say that: No matter what happens to J.D. Drew, Coco Crisp will not be on the Red Sox for the 2008 season.

Coco. Not only is J. D the better player, but with all these center fielders leaving, a cheap, defensive outfielder is probably really in demand.

?
Fenway is one of the hardest parks in baseball to hit HRs for a left hander.

JD Drew is actually a great player, people seem to forget that around here. He had one bad year, but I think we saw the real JD Drew in September and in the playoffs. Crisp just sucks. I could hit better than that guy

Coco-
Jacoby has the speed that Coco has and he can hit and he is a threat when he is on base.
