Title: Buccholz + Lester

Will they both be our starters next year? Lester i say yes, unless he gets traded for Johan or some mega deal... I'm not so sure about Buccholz. Thats why we need Schill or Wake around another year to add depth in case they have struggles.

They should both start next year.

It would be nice to see them both start next year. However, if that is the case then that'll mean that either Schill left via free agency or that Wakefield possibly retired? You never know when Wake's time is going to come.

I think our rotation will look something like this:

1. Josh Beckett
2. Diasuke Matsuzaka
3. Jon Lester
4. Tim Wakefield
5. Clay Buchholz

I think Buccholz starts off next year in Triple A because we only saw a very small sample of him this year. I say we do with Buccholz what we did with Lester, keep Tavarez, and let him start for the first couple months of the season. Then when he is ready, move Tavarez to the pen

Personally I'd start the season with Bucholz and see how he does.

why, so he can turn out like Craig Hansen?

I think they both should start

1. Josh Beckett
2. Curt Schilling
3. Dice-K
4. Lester
5. Buccholz

Epstein's already said he won't go for Schilling next year, and Schilling said he is interested in some of the teams. I don't think he'll be back as a Redsox.

They need to resign Schilling if they can do it reasonably. Say 1 year 9 million with incentives easy to get if he is healthy enough to pitch. Otherwise let him walk.

1.Beckett
2.DiceK
3.Lester
4.Wakefield
5. Bucholtz/Tavarez

Gotta pick up Tavarez.

Or he could have a season like one any of the Marlins rookie starters did last season and continue that on for years to come. I don't think Bucholz need more time in the minors but if he struggles then send him down for a little while and he'll probably make it back to the majors for good in a couple of starts. Have faith in Clay.

With the regiment they had him on last year, I don't think Clay can pitch 200 inninngs in the big leagues this year. If we were desperate for starting pitching, then yes, I would say he starts the year in Boston, but he needs to work on his arm strenght and stamina in Pawtucket for a month or two
