Title: Cleveland Blows
Crushed Optimism - October 6, 2007 07:10 AM (GMT)
I can only imagine how many people I'm about to piss off.
Oh well.
So wtf is wrong with Cleveland? I'm not talking about the team, but the city and stadium.... Do you guys remember at the start of the season, the Mariners and Tribe got SNOWED OUT in a 4 game series? That really plagued both of our seasons pretty badly with all the lack of rest and travel days. Why the hell is itt snowing during baseball season anyway? I guess that's just weird to us Seattlites.
But then these bugs are coming out of nowhere and like attacking the players. Makes you kinda wonder if the city of Cleveland is fit for a baseball team  . Surely is the mistake by the lake.
But I just thought it's weird how all this shit seems to happen in Cleveland. It really does seem to effect the season's of these teams tho. Kinda frustrating if you're in one end of it, as I know from being a Mariners fan, and Yankee fans know too. :/
Yeah this is a completely pointless post. But I'm just hella bored obviously. Tomorrow night's homecoming at least :D

lol I think they need a dome on their stadium. If they make it to the World Series watch it snow haha.

Anyone know how many home games the Indians played? Because didn't they play in Milwaukee for a series too? They also missed one game when they had to be the home team in Seattle.

THU, are you going to any of the ALDS games?

Isn't snow considered odd to Seattle natives ANY time of the year?
Not sure where the bugs came from, but I know the old stadium on the lakefront used to have a lot of insect problems. Probably has to do with the odd weather everywhere this year. Here in North Texas, we had a plague of crickets for most of the summer. The steps to the hockey arena here looked like an insect version of the beaches of Normandy.
As for the snow, if you don't like it, too bad! We won't build a dome because it would benefit the opposition too much. It would be like building a dome over Lambeau field in Green Bay. The Packers use the cold conditions to their advantage, and the Indians can do the same. It snowed during the 1997 World Series. Sure beats 300+ days of rain every year.

Your right. It doesn't snow here very much. Which is good because I don't like snow.
and lmao where did you get the number 300 from?
lol ok w/e.
It's kinda hard to use snow to your advantage in baseball...

You can't use snow to your advantage too well, but cold weather and wind can be used for an advantage.
