Title: Just my luck

TheHugeUnit - October 4, 2007 05:23 PM (GMT)
My friend was planning on going to Vegas for his 21st but picked to go to a Canada casino instead so I would be able to go, since im only 19. When does he want to go? The time the world series starts. I don't want to be mean and say no since he already cancelled the plane tickets and hotels and shit there. Only good thing is he is renting a stretch hummer for the drive.

Canadian bars are competitively superior to American bars, IMVHO.

Congratulations to your friend on his birthday, THU. And trust me, none of my friends ever passed up a chance to go to Vegas just because I couldn't come along: I wouldn't put this in my own personal gripe forum were it to happen to me. B)

I just don't want to go. Thats going to be like 300 for a hotel, at least 500 for gambling and some money for stuff like eating and drinks and stuff.

Yeah...

You could try to stretch your gambling dollars by using a reverse martingale or some such...but you're right, it won't be inexpensive.

I think it'd be interesting to live in Canada.
