Title: 10 reasons why I hate the Yankees

10) A-rod.
9) Mike Mussina.
8) Derek Jeter gets GG when he sucks.
7) The amount of Yankee Fans that always think that they can rip off other teams and trade their shitty player for other teams good players/prospects.
6) The fact that they can't win with a 200 mil payroll is laughable.
5) 24 innings & several Jays Pitchers wasted this weekend while playing a team that nobody likes.
4) Derek Jeter wears a single digit number.
3) Rogers Clemens being the jackass he is and throwing at Rios before he got pulled.
2) Wang sucks. Only reason he has good numbers is because the Yankees offense and that the Yankees water the ground in front of home plate so that groundballs will be easier to field. I know a lot of teams do that for their own groundball pitchers, but I don't care. And Wang has a 5.05 ERA on the road.
1) Wang will never be in the spotlight that Roy Halladay was in when he won the Cy Young in 2003, and was going to EASILY win another Cy in 2005.

Wang has a 5.05 ERA on the road.

The career split for Wang:

Home: 3.04 ERA
Road: 4.66 ERA

If you look at his batting line allowed, it's almost exactly 50 points higher on BA, OBP and SLG on the road, suggesting that the entire difference is that once every 20 at bats--roughly twice per nine innings pitched--a ground ball that becomes a single on the road becomes an out in Yankee Stadium.

On the one hand, teams always do their best to support their current rosters and to acquire players well-suited for success in their home ballpark. On the other hand, if Wang pitches in Fenway in the ALDS I hope that they pave the infield and paint it green before his start. :P
