Who would you root for? This is mostly intended for non-Yankee and Red sox fans. If your team was out of it and the ALCS was Yankees/Red Sox, who would you root for?

I personally wouldn't give a shit, but if I had to pick I would support the Yankees. Ever since 2004 Red Sox fans seem to have gotten the impression that people root for them because they are the "underdog" compared to the Yankees, when really they are hypocrites who support a team that spends basically just as much as the Yankees. The only reason people supported the Red Sox that year was because they wanted to be there to witness history when their World Series winless streak ended. If I could go back in time I'd be pulling for the Yankees in that 04 ALCS.

Plus I'm kyy's ho, so I have to root for them.

Yanks, until they win the World Series, then the Red Sox. I'm indifferent towards both, so it'll just alternate.
