I agree with him that we need a baseball intelligent manager, but Dusty Baker is NOT the answer. If we got Dusty then McGowan would be throwing 140 pitches per game until his arms falls off.

Doesn't gibbons do that to Burnett anyways and on 4 days rest too.

He let him throw 3 straight games of 125+ pitches with no extra rest in between. Since his trip to the DL though he's been limited to about 110 max, thank god.

Hmm McGowan and Marcum the new Prior and Wood? I'd feel bad for the jays fans but I'd secretly be happy, until you face the red sox that is.

Whoever they bring in, and I don't support firing Gibby btw, it better not be a rookie manager. We've had four in a row now who have not had prior managing experience.
