Title: AL SS Gold Glove

BlueJaysfan - September 3, 2007 06:24 PM (GMT)
I'm just curious to see what people on here think.

mpic92 - September 3, 2007 06:33 PM (GMT)
Definitely McDonald if he qualifies.

zackboomer - September 3, 2007 06:35 PM (GMT)
Johnny. Not being biased either.

BlueJaysfan - September 3, 2007 06:37 PM (GMT)
I think Johnny too, but I don't think the voters will vote for him...so I just want to see what members on here think.

KeepTheFaith - September 3, 2007 07:32 PM (GMT)
johnny mac, followed by cabrera.

webgem924 - September 3, 2007 07:43 PM (GMT)
mcdonald

PAUL KONERKO 14 - September 3, 2007 08:33 PM (GMT)
McDonald

Mike Lowell is God - September 4, 2007 02:20 AM (GMT)
Why is Jeter even on the poll? He has like 15+ errors this year. He's having one of his worst defensive seasons i've ever seen him have.

Next One - September 4, 2007 04:23 AM (GMT)
Go J-Mac *bananadance*

Jeter always has his name come up in Gold Glove talk.

Marlinschamps03 - September 4, 2007 05:07 AM (GMT)
I voted cabrera just to change things up but I'd pick McDonald too.

SouthPawNYM - September 4, 2007 12:44 PM (GMT)
Toss-up between Johnny Mac & Carbrera, though I am leaning a bit more towards J-Mac...

YankeesDieHard™ - September 4, 2007 01:11 PM (GMT)
Derek Jeter. :) *NYY* I stick through him through think & thin.

Graham - September 4, 2007 02:45 PM (GMT)
I honestly think John McDonald is the best fielding shortstop in the AL

Rockshu - September 4, 2007 02:50 PM (GMT)
His 5.13 range factor is 1st among AL SS starters (Juan Uribe is 2nd at 4.89), and his .987 is 1st among AL SS starters (Orlando Cabrera is 2nd at .984). Johnny Mac all the way.

Tribe No 1 Fan - September 4, 2007 03:21 PM (GMT)
Definitely Johnny Mac.

jaysdude09 - September 4, 2007 04:49 PM (GMT)
teh mac!

Homer. Even every Yankee fan knows Maccy should get it.

And rockshu about Uribe, if it wasn't for his defense, he would be on the fuckin bench.

BlueJaysfan - September 4, 2007 08:19 PM (GMT)
And btw YDH, what do you mean thick and thin? He hasn't really had any troubles at the MLB level, so is this just like your losing to the Angels in the playoffs hardships?

PAUL KONERKO 14 - September 4, 2007 08:20 PM (GMT)
So ydh, you stick it into Jeter is what you meant to say?

(LOLOLOL)

BlueJaysfan - September 4, 2007 08:48 PM (GMT)
Lol, he doesn't defend his pick, just leaves.

RedSoxRoxBigPapi - September 4, 2007 10:19 PM (GMT)
Although he is a Blue Jay, I have to say john macdonald shoud have this honor. He is really good.

YankeeBaseball2 - September 5, 2007 09:57 PM (GMT)
mcdonalds

steveox - September 5, 2007 10:25 PM (GMT)
Sadly i voted for Jeter :(

Sadly i voted for Jeter :(

Can you explain why?

YankeesDieHard™ - September 5, 2007 11:03 PM (GMT)
Because he's better than Tejada?

Still waiting for your reasoning of picking Jeter and what exactly you personally stuck with him through.

Don't be silly. He stuck with his team through world series appearances, ALCS appearances, and 95+ win seasons. He also didn't stop rooting for Jeter last year when he didn't win the MVP.

jaysdude09 - September 7, 2007 08:19 PM (GMT)
Despite the votes we have in this poll, and how lopsided it is, the GG will go to Cabrera because he's hitting .310 or something with 70+ RBI's right now.

webgem924 - September 9, 2007 12:27 AM (GMT)
a guy who should also be in contention for gg at ss (won't win, but should get a little consideration) is Tony Pena Jr on the Royals, he has an amazing arm at short

PAUL KONERKO 14 - September 9, 2007 12:22 PM (GMT)
You should PM him.

BlueJaysfan - September 9, 2007 05:42 PM (GMT)
He was just in the MLB Polls!
