Ok, Im a computer Major....so my future lies in computer. Personally, I think it'd be cool to have a computer, idk it must sound wierd, but I think it could help me out?..

I ordered a computer from Dell on August 13th and classes started on August 27th, thats 2 weeks, enough time to make it. They told me theyd send it out on the 23rd, so It should have been at my house on Friday, but then they called and said it won't be sent till the 27th, so I'd have to go a week of classes without it, which I could survive, and I came home this weekend to pick it up... Now they called and said it wouldnt be shipped till the 10th of September!! What the Hell, it takes one whole month to make my computer! They could probably have the damn thing done in a day if they wanted, now I have to go 3 weeks of school without a computer...as a computer major! What kind of shit is that? I want to call them and ask for a a free copy of Photoshop or something for having to wait this long for a damn computer.

1 month......I could build a working computer out of toothpicks in a month...

You should file a complaint. There shouldn't be any reason for them to push back your delivery date for that much. I got my new Dell XPS in less than a week.

Screw Dell.
I bought this new Everex laptop which i am on now. Someone told me I could connect the modem of my verizon ISP into the laptop and get net so i did and it worked for about 3 weeks. I then started having this problem where the net worked for the first 2 minutes and then just stopped. I called Verizon and Everex 2 times each and they were very helpful. We finally shut off my Computer associates laptop and it worked again. I then tried to call CA. They make me go to a tinyurl.com./###### site and download software so i could chat with a rep. He gives me a link with instructions how to fix it and the guy was mad incompetent so I just left the CA firewall off and turned the windows one on.

Man, never buy from dell. First off they are terrible with customer service and second they try to integrate all of their video cards and shit so it is much harder to upgrade your pc, especially when they give you some thin ass case.

Dell is terrible at making anything. I would rather buy a Mac laptop than a Dell laptop.

When I'm getting a new computer I order all the pieces separately and get my buddy to put them together. You can get like a $2200 computer for about $1500 if you don't go through computer store fudgepackers.
