Title: JaKe Peavy

The SOB's at it again. 8K's through 4IP. So i'm guessing another 6Ip 11 K performance for him.
So anyway, does anyone know who has the most double digit K starts in a single season in the history of MLB?

I'd guess Randy Johnson. He had like a 350 K season one time, that's averaging 10 per start.

I'm going to also say RJ in 2001, he had 23 of his 34 starts in double digits K's.
lol Peavy has eight, thats nothing to Johnson.
And Johnson had two season with 350+ K's, 364 in 1999 and 372 in 2001.

Peavy's the man. He's pulling away with the NL Cy Young. He has a good chance at the NL Pitching Triple Crown, and possibly the MLB one if Bedard misses a couple more starts.

He'll be pitching on 3 days rest today vs. the D-Backs. Hopefully he'll still dominate, and it'll show if he can do it in the playoffs too.
