use WHIP to measure how good a pitcher is. It's much better than using the overrated ERA.
The same can be said with hitters. Never use AVG, always use OBP or better yet OPS.
I do agree, that staff has been pretty good this year. Thank JP for failing to sign Lilly and Meche last offseason. Going with OHKA, ZAMBRANO and THOMSON paid off. Well it paid off because not much money was wasted and they sucked. It allowed the young guys a chance to prove themselves. I still think Janssen will be in the starting rotation next year.
The jays pitching has been great as of late, Hopeflly The jays stay healthy and I think they will at least make the playoffs next season.
