I would follow it if it were in the local papers.

I can name a few players...Luis A. Gonzalez, Geremi Gonzalez, Benny Agbayani, and Kosuke Fukudome who everyone will hear about in maybe a year. But I don't actually follow it.

I remember Agbayani was on the Mets and from Hawaii

I can name a few Japanese players, Fukudome, Koji Uehara, Tuffy Rhodes (I think)

I don't follow it often, maybe check on it once every few months
