The Angels' Minor League department announced the Organizational Players of the Month for July:

Single-A Rancho Cucamonga's OF Chris Pettit was named the Player of the Month after batting .384 (43/112) with 30 runs scored, 12 doubles, one triple, eight home runs and 36 RBI in 28 games (this is his second Player of the Month honor in 2007); LHP Michael Anton, who was 4-1 with a 1.50 ERA (30 IP - 5 ER), five walks and 35 strikeouts in six starts for rookie level Angels of the Arizona League, was named Pitcher of the Month; and Triple-A Salt Lake OF Terry Evans was named Defensive Player of the Month with a .995 fielding percentage (1 E, 194 total chances).
