That is GREAT news. My admin spot was enjoyable while it lasted, but id much rather be on an IPB.

i edited the domain info to point here but it still hasn't propagated yet. i did that before we knew that happened.

O boy, none of this stuff happened. Were working to recover the situation. We were a targeted attack. Nothing will be lost and should be up soon. Oesh I'm pming you about the new nameservers now.

It was a ddos attack, out hosts were supposed to protect us from such an attack but obviously we weren't protected. After a long day of going back and forth with our hosts, we were finally given access to the files and are moving to a new host.

A host is supposed to send us an email letting us know we were possibly under attack.

Email us with the reason why we were suspended.

Protect sites against ddos attacks.

And none of those were done. Over 2,000 people tried to access the site at the exact same time, it overloaded the server causing it to crash. DHB is a popular site, but it is ridiculous to think that 2,000 legit viewers were accessing the site at the same time.

It will be back up tonight or tomorrow.

No they are already transferred. Just it can take up to 48 hrs for the nameservers to be adjusted. Usually it does not take that long however.
