The article is pretty good, but I think the sidebar info is even better. What do you guys think? I'm glad people finally realized McGowan isn't our top prospect anymore. This site doesn't even think he's top 10. I might have to agree with that.

Look back in ten years and you won't know who those names are. :D.

That just came out today and i read it about 10 mins ago. I only know Adam Lind on your list to be honest though.

It's my team and I really only know 7 of them. Apparently the #10 prospect is only 16, so not surprisingly no one has heard of him.

TheHugeUnit - November 14, 2006 04:23 AM (GMT)
Are any of them on the top 100 spect lists?

I think Lind is around 28 and Snider is around 50, but there's no one after that. Yes, we know, JP sucks at drafting.

lol....yea...he drafts solid players only....i am a lil frightened to see Romero soooo low....i thought he ahd a good year and has a tonne of potential.

We'll just have to wait and see. At the beginning of the year, we all had a funny feeling that he wouldn't be here, but right now, I'm leaning towards a " yes he will be here in 2010. "

Why not? The jays have more spending money. I think they'll be able to lock him up this off-season.

What I find most interesting about this is when you look at the Largest Bonuses in Club History. You look at the top five and 2 of them aren't in the organization anymore, 2 are ranked 2 and 3 respectively by BaseballAmerica and the lone guy left is not making any impact of significance with the big club! When that's happening, it's either because the guy has had a medical issue or he's got the big word " potential " but he isn't showing he's got game.

With Russ Adams, I haven't seen a flash of brilliance unlike when Roy Halladay needed confidence.
