Righty among 11 A's prospects seeing action this offseason

While most of his fellow Oakland A's prospects have yet to distinguish themselves thus far in the Arizona Fall League, Marcus McBeth has been outstanding.
The Phoenix Desert Dogs closer received AFL Player of the Week honors for Oct. 23-29. He did not allow a run in three innings, giving up one hit without a walk and fanning four. The converted outfielder has a 3.86 ERA in seven innings and has struck out nine while allowing just one walk.
McBeth joins 10 other A's prospects seeing action in either the AFL, the Venezuela Winter League or the Mexican Pacific League. Here's how the others fared in during the week of Oct. 25-Nov. 1:
Arizona Fall League
OF Travis Buck: Hampered by a lingering injury to his abdomen, Buck only played in one AFL game this week, going 1-for-3. The 22-year-old is hitting .259 with one home run and seven RBIs in 27 at-bats.
2B Kevin Melillo: Melillo broke out of a season-long slump this week, going 6-for-19 with three RBIs in four games. He's hitting .233 with one home run and six RBIs in 60 at-bats.
C Landon Powell: Powell went 2-for-7 with a walk in two games. He's gone 8-for-30 in eight games.
RHP Michael Mitchell: Mitchell went 1-1 in two outings, allowing one run in 1 1/3 frames. He has a 3.00 ERA through six innings.
RHP Connor Robertson: Robertson's rough AFL season continued this week as he surrendered two runs in 2 2/3 innings. He's allowed nine runs in 6 2/3 frames.
Venezuela Winter League
OF Luis Perez: Perez did not play this week. He is 1-for-4 in two games.
IF Gregorio Petit: Petit went 6-for-14 in four games, raising his batting average to .364.
RHP Victor Moreno: Moreno tossed four innings and surrendered one run on three hits and a walk while striking out three. He's 2-1 with a 6.00 ERA in nine innings.
Alberto Henry Rodriguez: Rodriguez yielded two runs (one earned) while recording two outs on Oct. 27 in his only appearance of the season. He walked one and struck out one.
Mexican Pacific League
Doug Clark: After a hot start, Clark cooled down this week, going 4-for-25 with one home run and two RBIs in seven games. He's hitting .278 with five home runs and 12 RBIs through 17 games.
