Now that i've completely gotten over one of the most frustrating seasons i've ever had as a sports fan, I guess its time for offseason talk.

what do you other braves fans want to see happen in the offseason? what moves do you think they should make? who do you want to see in a braves uniform?

i know it might be out of the picture, but i'd like use to take a chance on eric gagne. when healthy(yeah it sounds stupid) hes a top 5 closer in the league. he could be worth the risk once wickman retires.

i'd also like to see us bring in a legitimate leadoff guy. when aybar was leading off when chipper was out giles hit so much better in the 2 spot. he looked a lot more comfortable at the plate. when in the leadoff spot he seemed a lot too worried about getting on base every at bat instead of just staying comfortable and hitting the ball.

Sign Jose Lima

Any moves need to be pitching unless it's leadoff... we need no more offense, we are great there.

for LF, maybe David Roberts? he is 34 I think but he stole close to 50 bases last year, I'd be fine with him, he wouldn't be expensive....

but Giles may be gone... so we'll see...

looks like Andruw might be gone after 2007.....

Wow, the braves better go seriously after one of the frontline starters available in the FA market because they're gonna get walked on next year with Hudson as their ace..

BTW, is Smoltz resigning?

And the Braves need to get a CP.

Yeah, but Hudson was a below average starter last year.... and Hampton is returning.... if he doesn't get injured watch out... my prediction right there.

Yeah, to Smoltz

No, we have Wickman

Smoltz-Hudson-James-Hampton-Davies sounds like a pretty good rotation. Maybe Thomson in there somewhere.

I think James could have a huge breakout season. He was 11-4 with an ERA under 4 in the starts he did have.
