I have heard the following rumors, and I just wanna let you guys know some of them, just in case you didn't already. I get the rumors pretty quick, so here ya go...

*3B Wes Helms-Marlins make an offer to re-sign, but he rejects because he wants to test free agency.

*RHSP Wade Miller-Expected to re-sign with Cubs.

*LF Jose Valentin-Mets interested in re-signing.

*RHSP Hiroki Kuroda-Many teams are interested, but the Indians and Cubs are in the lead to sign the the Japanese FA. The Hanshin Tigers are expected to ltry and lure him back to the Japanese league.

*LHSP David Wells-Expected to retire this winter. Wants to become an analyst.

*3B Aramis Ramirez-Could opt out of his contract and begin contract extension talk with the Cubs. If he opts out, then the Angels, Phillies, and Dodgers are also targeting him.

*2B Kaz Matsui-Rockies are going to offer a 1 year/$1.5 Million dollar contract, but Matsui might return back to a Japanese team.

*C Jason Kendall-Wants to re-structure his contract and stay in Oakland.

*3B Akinori Iwamura-Might come to America to play in the bigs, his dream, but not sure on his team.

*RHRP Takashi Saito-Might return to Japan.

*LF Jay Payton-A's have began discussions.

*1B Kevin Millar-Interested in returning to the Red Sox.

*LHSP Oliver Perez-If Mets pass on him, then the Padres want him in their bullpen.

*3B Alex Rodriguez-White Sox already made an off centered around Buehrle, Garcia, or Vazquez, but the Yankees weren't interested. Many more offers to come probably.

*LHRP Ray King-Option should be declined and won't return to the Rockies.

*1B Seung-yeop Lee-Expected to re-sign in Japan, although he did express interest in coming to the MLB.

*LF Alfonso Soriano-Expected not to return to D.C. Supposedly turned down a 5 Year/$70 Million dollar offer.

*RHSP Jake Peavy-Unknown.

*CF Torii Hunter-Wants to end his career or play at least one year in the Twins' new ballpark. Extensions are put on hold as of right now.

*RHSP Daisuke Matsuzaka-Pursuing an MLB career. Offers said to be around $30 million for 6 years.

*3B Joe Crede-White Sox attempting to re-sign him.

*3B Russell Branyan-Padres expected to pick up his $1 Million for his 2007 contract.

*2B Brian Roberts-Orioles will start to begin talks.

*1B Justin Morneau-Expected to re-sign with Twins on a long term deal.

*3B Andy Green-Hoping the D-Backs will sell his contract to Japan.

*RHRP David Weather-Reds are wanting to bring him back before he becomes a FA.

*LHSP Doug Davis-Probably heading to an arbitration hearing unless he receives a 3 Years/$21 Millionish type contract from the Brewers.

*DH Frank Thomas-A's are currently working on a contract close to 2 Years/$6 Million. Thomas may want something around 3 Years/$15 Million.

*SS Miguel Tejada-Frustrated with the failing job his agents Fernando Cuza and Diego Bentz of SFX have done at keeping bad publicity about him out of the limelight, Tejada is considering switching to agent Gregg Clifton.

*CF Vernon Wells-Wants an extension, but since his price tag will be high, he may be traded.

*CF Juan Pierre-Working on a deal to re-sign, but he might test the FA market.

We have the money, if Vernon really wants to stay here, we'll sign him if its under 16mil.

He doesn't deserve to make any more than 12 or 13 mil per season... but the fact is, we're Toronto, so we're gonna have to overpay.

I always hate the "Toronto Factor". Its so BS unless your the leafs...dammit....but trading him would be a good option. We can really satisfy some of our needs for a long time if JP trades well.
