Jeter4MVP2 - October 22, 2006 04:24 AM (GMT)
Rules Name a Player and The next person says if he thinks the person will be a future hall of famer.

Don Matingly

Ranger_4 - October 22, 2006 04:27 AM (GMT)
Yes!

Rafael Palmeiro?

braveschopbraves - October 22, 2006 04:31 AM (GMT)
yeah, 570 HRs, .290, plus 3 GGs.... I know, I know, steroids, but how much did that help of the 570? Yes for HoF

Next:

John Smoltz

Ranger_4 - October 22, 2006 04:32 AM (GMT)
Yes. He is a great closer and SP.

The #1 question!.....PETE ROSE?

braveschopbraves - October 22, 2006 04:34 AM (GMT)

Yes. He is a great closer and SP.

The #1 question!.....PETE ROSE?

since the quetsion is "the person will be a future hall of famer."

nope...

but do I feel he deserves a spot? Yeah

Vladimir Guerrerro

Ranger_4 - October 22, 2006 04:37 AM (GMT)
Well if he keeps it up then heck yeah.

Too short to tell, but Ian Kinsler?

Crushed Optimism - October 22, 2006 04:39 AM (GMT)

Too short to tell, but Ian Kinsler?

No way.

Edgar Martinez?

Ranger_4 - October 22, 2006 04:41 AM (GMT)
Heck yeah.

Ichiro?

Crushed Optimism - October 22, 2006 04:52 AM (GMT)
QUOTE (Ranger_4 @ Oct 21 2006, 11:41 PM)
Heck yeah.

Ichiro?

Maybe... It's too early to tell because he hasn't been here for that long. If he hits 10 productive years here, he's a lock I think, but I doubt that's gonna happen.

Hmm... Barry Bonds IF he's caught using steroids.

Ranger_4 - October 22, 2006 04:56 AM (GMT)
That is a hard question, but I bet that no matter what he will get in.

Mark Teixeira?

KeepTheFaith - October 22, 2006 01:44 PM (GMT)
Yup, Tex will be the best hitter in baseball in a couple years

Jim Edmonds?

Mastro96 - October 22, 2006 02:36 PM (GMT)
Its border line, if he gets 2000 hits and 400 homers by the time he retires then that will be enough to compliment his stellar fieldng ability.

Kenny Rogers?

terrorist of sports - October 22, 2006 02:39 PM (GMT)
no

mike mussina

Jeter4MVP2 - October 22, 2006 03:55 PM (GMT)

Jim Kaat

Ranger_4 - October 22, 2006 05:20 PM (GMT)
Borderline, but I say yes.

Pedro Martinez?

Mastro96 - October 22, 2006 05:32 PM (GMT)
I hate him a lot, I think maybe but prolly not

Jeff Kent?

Ranger_4 - October 22, 2006 05:40 PM (GMT)
If he puts up three more 25+ HR, 100 RBI seasons then yes, if not, then no.

Jeff Bagwell?

Mastro96 - October 22, 2006 06:00 PM (GMT)
he should be in my opinion, 450 homers around 2500 hits and 1500 RBIs, I dont know if the writers will agree though.

Jim Thome?

Ranger_4 - October 22, 2006 06:14 PM (GMT)
YES! Jim Thome got me watching baseball! ('97 WS), and I really am a big fan of the guy and I hope he gets in.

Curt Shilling

Ranger_4 - October 22, 2006 10:45 PM (GMT)
Borderline, but a yes...

Too early to tell, but...Ryan Howard?

hankaaron44 - October 23, 2006 03:12 AM (GMT)
Yes. I don't think he'll slow down dramatically.

Ranger_4 - October 23, 2006 03:36 AM (GMT)

Here is a tough one...Francisco Liriano?

TheBabe714 - October 23, 2006 11:24 AM (GMT)

Torii Hunter

Ranger_4 - October 23, 2006 09:42 PM (GMT)
No, unless he has more years like he did this last year.

Justin Morneau?

KeepTheFaith - October 23, 2006 10:57 PM (GMT)

Ranger_4 - October 24, 2006 12:00 AM (GMT)
How do you know that it is a no? He could have 7-8 more seasons like he did a couple of years back, and he would be a definite candidate.

terrorist of sports - October 24, 2006 12:38 AM (GMT)
