Don't forget to take age into count.

braveschopbraves - January 13, 2006 11:10 PM (GMT)
Jhonny Peralta over Andruw Jones????

Not that I'd take Andruw, but he's a better choice than Peralta... <_<

Sorry. I forgot about him *mallet* I knew there was people I forgot, and plenty of options, that's why I put an other area.

Rissa543 - January 14, 2006 03:34 AM (GMT)
I'd take David Wright, and no I'm not biased.

BlueJays1 - January 14, 2006 03:37 AM (GMT)
Dontrell or Halladay but i took Halladay more dominant

TheHugeUnit - January 14, 2006 03:40 AM (GMT)
Alex Rodriguez, He is still young and he is one of the best players in the game

RedRuffing15 - January 14, 2006 03:46 AM (GMT)
idk y...but i said D wright too

NateFizzle - January 14, 2006 05:14 PM (GMT)
Pujols hands down.

2002NLChamps - January 22, 2006 09:25 PM (GMT)
Yep, you gotta go with Pujols because his hitting is that good. And he's only 25.

mpic92 - January 22, 2006 09:28 PM (GMT)
Obviously Pujols

hankaaron44 - January 22, 2006 10:38 PM (GMT)
Halladay. He's very underated but the players know ( and what fans probably don't know ) is that, Halladay is a great leader if u let him speak. He can lure players like Pujols to ur team so that's why I didn't vote Pujols.

But to be honest, if Halladay wasn't on this ballot, not only would outraged, but I would vote Pujols :)

Jones doesnt hit for average. -_- I rest my case...and i really dont like this topic because 1 player in baseball wont make a difference.

BigPapi06 - January 22, 2006 11:03 PM (GMT)
Paul Konerko

WHOA!! Can you explain you reasoning for that when you have someone like Pujols who is better in about every way?

Peralta .294 24 78
Andruw .263 51 128

I'd rather have Andruw, who has more homeruns, rbis, sbs, better defence, and finished second in MVP than Peralta who has a higher average

well im just saying...you could have 50 homeruns and everyone of them could be solo shots...they dont help the team as much.

NateFizzle - January 22, 2006 11:25 PM (GMT)
Its best to build around young guys.

Well homeruns are better than singles, double or triples... Even if they were solo shots, I'd rather have a homerun with the bases empty than a single or double... And if the bases were loaded, sure a 2run single would be nice, but a grand slam would be better

IF we had to trade Manny, Konerko could play LF and Pujols could play CF

sfgkml - January 22, 2006 11:33 PM (GMT)
Pujols or Willis.. but it would probably make more sense to build around a hitter than a pitcher.

Konerko... LF??????

He has played 19 games in the outfield in his career.....

And I don't really think of Pujols as a centerfielder, though he has played OF in his career *idunno*

You don't want Pujols in CF or Konerko in LF; they couldn't do that. Pujols could play left or right but not center and Konerko is only a 1st/DH player.

But why do you say Pujols in CF? You voted for Konerko.

Santana - February 4, 2006 05:34 AM (GMT)
David Wright, great guy from my perspective

Minnesota Kid - February 17, 2006 02:19 AM (GMT)
David Wright, he can make some big plays on Offense and Defense.

TheBabe714 - February 20, 2006 03:46 PM (GMT)
A-Rod might be the greatet player of all-time.

Carlfan - February 20, 2006 04:37 PM (GMT)
Albert Pujols, no doubt about it, hands down.

To everyone that didn't say Pujols, you are crazy, face it, Pujols is everything, he is already a legend, he is very young but very expeireced too.
He is the best hitter in the game and a great glove at 1st.
He stole 15 bases last year.
He's also a great guy and a good leader too.
Albert Pujols should be the only choice here, he is the FIRST guy I would have build a team around.

Mets Rule - February 23, 2006 01:57 PM (GMT)
David Wright all the way!!! *yay* *yay* *yay*
