Title: A few science questions

TheHugeUnit - October 5, 2006 09:04 PM (GMT)
What would have to be the basic nutruent for an organism to synthesize antibodies, enzymes and some hormones?

If a cell loses the ability to catalyze a chemical reaction, this loss indicates a malfunction of______________________?

Thanks *beer*

MetSoxzFan - October 5, 2006 09:42 PM (GMT)

well yeah

Amino Acids do help build and maintain all body tissues. They are the building blocks of protein

But they are the vital components of skin, hair, muscle tissue, the body's organs, blood cells, various enzymes, hormones, and body fluids.

Amino Acids are also responsible for regulating functions such as growth, digestion, and maintaining the body's immune system for optimum protection.

That's what I was thinking, but I wasn't 100% sure and I didn't want to fuck up someone's assignment.
