Heard this discussion on Mike and Mike in the morning and thought it was interesting. Would you keep your children out of school so that they could watch the playoffs?

i would. my mom lets me stay home for opening day every year and the home opener.

i stayed home for a week last year for the beginning of the NCAA basketball tournament. it was awesome.

id say yes, you have a ton of days of school but playoffs only come once a year you can miss a few days of school for the playoffs

Plus, to most people September and October are like the beginning of the school yr.

Even though I missed most of the 1pm games, no, I wouldn't miss school for them. I get back at about 230 so I still get a good amount. Plus even though that Zito-Santana matchup I wanted to see, I don't care about the A's-Twins series that much. I just can't wait for them all to be on FOX so I can watch them all in HD.
