Description: Future of Favre?
MrYankee - January 12, 2006 10:42 PM (GMT)
with new coach Mike McCarthy at the helm (a former QB coach of Favre) will Brett Favre return to the Packers for the 2006 season or is it Aaron Rodger's turn?

This guy was only his coach for one year so he isn't so special.
I think Farve will retire, he wont go back to the Packers and he certainly won't ruin his amazing career and all those years for the packers and go play for like the Cowboys <_<

I think he will come back. But his team isnt going anywhere but you gotta feel like the guy, alot of injuries to the core of the team.

Well judging off of this:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2311729 I'd say he's long gone. Read some of his quotes in there. Doesn't sound to me like someone who is coming back.

What an idiot. Just quit already. We know you want the spotlight on yourself for a few more days, but stop it already and make up you damn mind. I wouldn't be surprised if he decides to come back, then the media will have a huge love fest over him, especially after what he said about retiring.

I think he'll be a lot better next year but no super bowl for him :(
drake24 - February 6, 2006 05:02 PM (GMT)
I doubt Favre would go to a different team.

i wished he would stay for one more year, and give it his all and have an amazing breakout year, setting career highs for himself. but from wat i see, this is like 2/10 chance of him doing that. :(
Tyler58 - March 14, 2006 01:07 AM (GMT)
I think he will come back for 1 more year

The man is just getting too old, and with the new coach for Green Bay, he's going to retire his jersey, he had some great years for the Packers, but his time is finally done.

Wow can't believe i didn't see this topic sooner!
I'm going to say that he'll stay a little bit longer, but there's also the chance that he'll retire since he's getting old. I really hope thats not the case
Carlfan - March 14, 2006 02:08 AM (GMT)
if I were him, i'd retire
Big Willy Style - March 14, 2006 07:36 AM (GMT)
I'm pretty sure he's gonna come back and play next year for the Pack.
Kcrash5 - March 18, 2006 05:28 AM (GMT)
