What transactions do you think the Royals will make this offseason??? Personally, I really feel that they need another pitcher.

They're not gonna get anything accomplished unless their owner actually starts caring about them

The only way for the Royals to compete ever again is for them to have a complete management overhaul.

They've had top picks year after year, and who do they have that stands out? Exactly.

New owner (or start caring, as someone said)
New GM
New Scouting staff
New Coaching staff

If they do all that, they might be respectable in 5-10 years.

The biggest weakness on the team is their general manager. Now, in the offseason last year, he said he would work on a little something called "accountability". Apparently, this has nothing to do with pitching, hitting or fielding.

However, I'm sure they led the league in accountability in '06. Hopefully they can repeat in '07.

Is it true to the rumors that Showalter or Torre might be their manager?

I think Manny has a better shot at coaching rhe Royals than Torre.

i kinda think if the right manager came along... maybe girardi?... royals have a chance to be good. luke hochevar could be a really promising SP but other than him, they need to trade. they also have shealy and alex gordon

jaysdude09 - November 8, 2006 03:35 AM (GMT)
I agree with Rockshu. They need to fire everyone there.

They're gonna have the top picks in the drafts for like he next 6 or 7 years...

I wish I was the GM of the Royals and was given 10 years to make this team a winner. I could for sure do it....
