Dallas McPherson, who had his 2005 season ended by hip surgery, is throwing, taking ground balls and running at three-quarters speed.
His rehab is going well, but McPherson still received some bad news with the decision to put Darin Erstad back in center field. That likely puts Chone Figgins at third base and McPherson on the bench, at least until he gets hot. It wouldn't seem to be beneficial at all for the Angels top sit one of their only two players with 30-homer ability. Unless Garret Anderson somehow bounces back, the Angels may have the weakest offense of any AL contender. Jan. 11 - 4:07 am et
Man i didn't know so many Baseball players had surgery this year it really tells you it takes a lot out of you
I can't believe they'd put McPherson on the bench in favor of having Erstad in center. Too bad the Giants can't get him...
