Title: JP: Good Move Bad Move (koskie)

This was a disapointment I still have faith in JP dont get me wrong but Meh. They could have swung a way better deal this was just pathetic. The Brewers definatley just stole this trade. If we were paying 4 or 5 of the 11 Million then I could say it was a good move but 7?? no not at all BAD MOVE!

It was a bad move considering you could of gotten someone better or at least not had to of paid his salary

BlueJays1 - January 10, 2006 10:55 PM (GMT)
Good move, everyone wanted a salary dump and we got one

BlueJaysfan - January 10, 2006 11:08 PM (GMT)
decent deal...i'm sure if there was a better deal available, JP would have found it.

No man we dumped a Little we needed to dump way more than that were paying more than half thats BS. I dunno maybe im being Nieve but this just seemed wrong if a team wants to contend they cant make ok deals they need to make good ones.

it was a good move in the sense thta we dumped salary..the guy we got back will never see the big's but it has allowed us to pursue one more free agent

BlueJays1 - January 11, 2006 01:22 AM (GMT)
It was either pay 10 million over 2 years or 6 this year

sidthekid87 - January 11, 2006 01:32 AM (GMT)
i believe it is three each year

So whats the big deal? its less money and if he stayed he would never play anyway

sidthekid87 - January 12, 2006 04:22 AM (GMT)
no biggie..thats y i think it is a good move..freeing up any payroll is a good move at this point...OMFG baseball needs a cap

Grant77 - January 14, 2006 08:36 PM (GMT)
Could you imagine if they put in an 80 million dollar cap right now?? The Yankees would have Rodriguez, Jeter, Sheffield, Giambi and Johnson and thats it. Those 5 players make about 81 million. They would be totally screwed if the MLB threw in a hard cap.
