Title: Mueller: career ending injury?

I was just on Dodgers.com asking about Billy Mueller and his injury and some of the fans told me that this injury may have ended his career (don't remember when the injury happened) I really hope that this is not true. I loved Billy Mueller and would hate to see his career end like that. :(

Yeah unfortunately, his career is over. He was my fav. Dodger in the beginning of the season. :(

It's just really sad. I know that when he was with the Red Sox he played his heart out everyday, and I'm sure he did for The Dodgers too. He's one of those guys who played for the love of the game, not for the love of the money and the fame.

It really is a shame, but he was 35 years old. It's not like the injury cut his career in half, or took him out during his prime. He's got his world series ring, I'm sure he can hang up his bat and cleats knowing his career was successful.
