this tut shows you the basic overview of how to outer stroke your render.

.5 make sure it is on your cut render layer.

1.Under script fu's>alpha to logo>alien neon

2. switch the top color to white, bottom to black.......
3.width of bands 3...........width of gaps 1.......

4.number of bands 1-2(if you use 2, click fade away, if only 1, click
fade away off. click ok).

5.open up your layers tab, click on the black layer right below the stroke layer, delete it.

6. then you should have to erase that white stuff that on the player(i always have to)

7.then set the layer to overlay or lower the opacity

this effect can be used on text as well, there is another way to do this, but this looks much much cleaner.

All these good GIMP tuts keep coming out when I lose GIMP...
