Title: How Many MLB Players Were Born in your city?

RedRuffing15 - July 13, 2006 02:47 PM (GMT)
This was something interesting I found. Click Here
And then go to your state, and then(The esiest way) Select 'Find in this page(Ctrl+F on firefox) type in your citys name, and count how many there are as you click find next.

My City had 28 MLB players born here, the best were probably either Dave Cash(Who holds every main record in every sport at my High School), a 3 time All Star or Mark Lemke, a Grea Braves player

30 players born in Blightey

1 of which is a HOFer

I didnt know a career of 4 HR and 111RBI's could get u into cooperstown. had himself 8 saves too

1 of the English players stole 657 bases in his career (13th on the all time list), stole 106 in a season Tom Brown who was by far the most successful Brit.

RedRuffing15 - July 13, 2006 06:05 PM (GMT)
who was the HOF?

RastaMongoose74 - July 13, 2006 06:31 PM (GMT)
33 born in Tulsa..

Nobody really worth mentioning as players, though. Charlie O' Brien stuck out the most.

The biggest name on that list wasn't too successful as a player, but Bobby Cox is doing pretty well for himself as a manager.

I actually live between Tulsa and Broken Arrow, where Brad Penny is from, so I guess he counts too.

Four people from my city.

TheBabe714 - July 27, 2006 01:24 AM (GMT)
Anyone heard of Ricky Horton?

Rockshu - July 27, 2006 01:46 AM (GMT)
Well, I live in the middle of nowhere's in Canada, so I doubt anyone -- even someone who only played 1 AB -- came from my hometown.

Although, Al McInnis from the NHL was born like a few miles from where I was born...
