Some of you may be wondering why I'm currently an admin. Basically, it's just a temporary thing to help out with some stuff. Here are some updates that you should be aware of.

1. I re-wrote the DHB rules. I tried to do my best wording it and I bolded the main point of every rule. Please go here to check it out and read it over.

2. New forum descriptions. A lot of the forum descriptions weren't very good so I went through and changed most of them to make them fit better.

3. New multi moderation option for mods. Theres a new intro one to lock intros older than five days old as well as one to archive News.

4. Advertisments forum: We've decided to get rid of this. It did us more harm than good... in fact, we got absolutley no benefits from it and it was a freqent pain.

5. Suggestions and Comments changed. BoSox decided to get rid of the complaints forum. The Suggestions and Comments forum is now going to be know as "Feedback" which can be either positive or negative.

Complaints used to be the only forum members of the "banned" group could post in. Do they have a place to appeal now that Complaints has been deleted?

Now they can in the normal feedback

This is off topic from the rules but I like how you have the sub-forums showing from each forum like say you can go straight to teh Blue Jays page instead of going to AL East, then Blue Jays. Great job!

I believe THU did that part.

I should also add that Media is now a subforum for MLB. It didn't desevre it's own forum on the main page.

They didn't really work out, they didn't look that nice so we decided to get rid of them.

They took it out...
They figured it doesnt benefit the site at all, which it doesn't.

Trust me it does benifit the site. I would have never posted a single post had they not had the plug your forum forum. That goes for a lot of people I'm sure. I worked my way up to 75 posts so I could use it, only to be slapped in the face as they delete the forum as soon as i get there. I feel a little pissed right now. So many minutes of my life wasted. :angry:

I'm sorry, but too many people abused the forum. Fights were starting in there and people continually spammed in it. It was doing more harm than it was good.

Well, we don't want people who aren't dedicated to the site, and only want to advertise.

If you only want people dedicated to your site then you'd have 100 members about.

Also the only reason I'm not dedicated to this site is because i have my own buddy. I am dedicated to that one. And I'm just trying to get it some exposure.

I'd take 100 dedicated over 1000 so-so members.

Its funny, many people wanted me to add a plug forum at sportsheaven. I knew they just wanted to spam, so i didnt add it. a la i havent seen em on the site since........
